Persuasive Sales Letter
Our task was to prepare a persuasive sales letter to convince an affluent audience to donate $600 a year to keep our local humane society afloat. Recent cuts in their operating budget created an immediate need for funds. I used both rational and emotional appeals to solicit this money. In addition, we used an attractive format to capture and maintain the reader's attention. A strong action close was included to ensure fast-action was taken.
Courtesy Letter
Everyone needs a helping hand every once in a while. This letter was intended to ask the assistance of my supervisor in professional business manner. It helped sharpen my abilities in personal professional writing.
Business Analysis
Analyizing bussinesses from around the world was a major part of my education. For this example my team and I summarized and analyized a report from The Wall Street Journal. Learning the strengths and weaknesses of other cultures has given me a better perspective on how I want to handle my self in my own personal business matters.
